Delete your Planlog account and data
Request deletion of your Plan Log (Planlog) account and associated data, or delete your account yourself. You do not need to reinstall the app.
How to request deletion
- If you can sign in, select the account deletion button below and review the data and shared-trip information.
- Check the acknowledgement, enter DELETE and select permanent deletion. The completion screen confirms that the account and personal data have been removed from the active service database.
- If you cannot sign in, email admin@planlog.io from your registered email with the subject “Planlog account deletion request”. Include your registered email, sign-in method (Google, Apple or email), and whether you want your entire account or specific data deleted.
- For Apple Hide My Email, include the registered address shown in Planlog. Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents or card numbers. We verify ownership using only necessary information and reply with the outcome.
Data that is deleted
Your sign-in account, profile, email, travel preferences, places you registered, visit records and photos, private AI conversations, watched brands and location-search records, uploaded receipts, personal reports, blocks, consent and usage records are deleted. Trips with no other members are deleted together with their schedules, souvenirs and expense data.
Shared trips and expenses
Trips with other members remain. If you are the only owner, ownership passes to the earliest remaining member. Schedule entries linked to your deleted places and previous generated itinerary/change snapshots are cleared. Shared expense amounts, allocations and payment confirmations remain, but your account link, name, authored descriptions and receipts are removed. Jointly managed schedules and souvenirs, content written by others, and copies already saved by others may remain. Email us to request removal of personal information in specific shared content.
Processing and retention
Direct deletion takes effect in the active service database when it succeeds; there is no account-deletion grace period. Failures are not shown as completed and can be retried. Email requests are processed after ownership verification, followed by a completion reply or an explanation of any further action needed. Shared records with the account link removed remain until the trip is deleted. Infrastructure backups and security logs follow each provider’s retention policies, so not all copies disappear immediately. If a legal retention obligation applies, we separately explain the affected data, basis and period.
Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your account. Your Google or Apple account itself is not deleted. Review outstanding balances and save necessary records first. Local drafts and nearby alerts are cleared on the device used for in-app deletion; remove app data on other devices to erase their offline copies.
